What do you love the most about your body?

A: Hair, pretty eyes, great lower legs, cute feet, beautiful face, robust health and good energy level.

What are your best  qualities?

A:  Loving heart, sense of humor, positive nature, plenty of hair!

Tell us the story about how you earned your stretch marks...

A: Living well, lots of movement, loving my delicious meals, enjoying amazing ice cream and many exotic foreign meals abroad, my normal changing/aging body, ebbs and flows of emotions, gaining and losing weight as my heart suffered and healed, dancing my heart out...

Describe your journey with body acceptance..

G: I have always been ashamed of my bad feet and shy to dance. Now I just don't really care; I am trying to function through the day, hold onto my independence, and enjoy my family and my reading.

What about self-love are you continuing to work on…

G: I have never really focused on self-love. I want to love others around me. I am not too happy with my aging, dependent body so I can work on that.

What is one of your qualities you wish shined brighter than exterior appearance?

G: My intellect, my wit, and my poetic thoughts.

What about self-love are you continuing to work on?

A: loving my body as it IS right now, appreciating how well it works and how graceful and lovely it is.

Are you where you'd like to be with self love?

Not really. Internally, yes. I love who I am and love my inside person. Ideally body needs to shed some layers to be freer again, but I am trying to enjoy it anyway and love it gently.

What is one quality you wished shined brighter than your exterior appearance?

A: My singing and acting gifts, my confidence in my intellect, all my creative passions.

What are your best qualities?

G: Hunger for knowledge, grateful heart, love people, curiosity and my calmness.
